Anxiety has a way of stealing our joy. It fills our minds with “what if” questions and keeps us focused on problems instead of God’s promises. While it’s normal to experience anxious moments, God doesn’t want us to live under the weight of constant worry.
The apostle Paul encourages us with these comforting words:
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” — Philippians 4:6 (KJV)
Instead of carrying our burdens alone, God invites us to bring them to Him in prayer. When we surrender our worries, He replaces fear with His peace.
Another habit that helps cultivate joy is filling our minds with God’s truth rather than negative thoughts. Spending time reading Scripture, praying, and worshipping reminds us that God is always in control.
Choose each day to focus on what is good, true, and hopeful. Even small moments of gratitude can shift your perspective and strengthen your faith.
Happiness isn’t found in having a problem-free life. It grows when we trust God more than our fears and allow His peace to guard our hearts.
“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7 (KJV)
No matter what you’re facing today, remember that God’s peace is greater than your anxiety, and His joy is available to everyone who trusts in Him.
