HOW TO PROTECT YOUR MENTAL WELLNESS FROM BURNOUT

Modern life can leave little room to breathe. Work, school, family responsibilities, technology, financial concerns, and constant information can make it difficult to truly switch off.

Stress is a normal response to life’s demands, but when stress or anxiety becomes persistent and begins interfering with daily life, it deserves attention.

Your wellness matters to God.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Notice that Jesus did not tell the weary to simply work harder. He invited them to come to Him.

Protecting your mental wellness may mean creating healthier boundaries, taking meaningful breaks, getting adequate rest, spending time in prayer, connecting with supportive people, and recognizing when you need professional help.

Rest is not a reward you have to earn. You are human, and your mind and body need care.

Today, give yourself permission to slow down. You don’t have to carry every responsibility at once.

Protect your peace. Make room for rest. Trust God with what you cannot control.

Reflection: What is one healthy boundary you can practice this week?
