Worry has a way of consuming our thoughts and draining our happiness. The more we focus on our fears, the more difficult it becomes to enjoy the present moment. Thankfully, God offers a better way.
Jesus lovingly reminds us:
“Therefore take no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.” — Matthew 6:34 (KJV)
Instead of worrying about tomorrow, God calls us to trust Him one day at a time. He already knows our needs and promises to care for us.
Building a happy mind begins with filling it with God’s promises. Replace fearful thoughts with Scripture. Spend time in prayer before your worries grow. Remember God’s faithfulness in your past, and let it strengthen your faith for the future.
Peace isn’t the absence of problems—it’s the confidence that God is in control.
Whenever anxiety begins to rise, pause and remind yourself of His promise:
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”— Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
As you choose faith over fear each day, you’ll discover that lasting happiness grows in a heart that trusts God completely.
